This week, while talking to Pastor Julius, he began to tell me the story of Betty. A few months back, Betty broke her femur. In addition to this, she also has a very large, horrible tumor on her breast. Due to lack of financial funds, both the broken femur and her tumor have been left untouched by medical hands. She and her family are starving. The Binji had set aside some fund for medical needs and when I learned of the story, I contacted Musumba and asked for his thoughts. He quickly bought the family some food to at least help with their dietary needs.
I made a short video for Betty, telling her I was praying for her and we were going to see what the Father does on her behalf. Musumba reported to me later : “When Betty watched your video, she cried a lot and asked, ‘Who am I to be loved by an American?” I told her to thank Yahweh for the people He is connecting her with.” Typically, these people in the more rural villages in Uganda are thought to be worthless and of no concern. For them to be seem by others, to be told that the Father hears them, that they are valued, important,]and loved by Him- this is what gives them the hope to continue. Yahweh has blessed me with the opportunity to see these people and to show His compassion towards them and my goal is to spread that awareness to you all as well.
